Soup Mugs

Still poorly.
Yesterday I was in bed most of the day. Today it is my darling husband. I managed to crawl out of it onto the sofa to watch four movies. Yes four movies and blog-surf a little.

Our diet in the last two days has been a lot of liquid: hot fluids, cheesy toasts and soup. Not home-made by the way, but the tinned variety. Oh what flavour was it? Tomato. Its the only shop bought soup we'll eat especially times like this.

Thank you so much for your well wishes, I promise to respond to your comments when my head is not so fuzzy.

  3. My mum used to have those same soup bowls (she probably still does to be honest)! That photo brought back memories of hot soup from when I was a child. Hope you enjoyed your movies :)

  12. Oh! Dear Mangocheeks,
I'm so sorry to hear that you and your husband have been sick, I hope you both will feel better soon. Try taking some fresh garlic with lot of water.

P.S. I usually try to stay away from the computer during the weekend (I want to spend most of my time with my family) but I want to visit your blog a little bit before I go to bed. I'll be back tomorrow, talk to you later:)

We had those same soup mugs when I was growing up (though I don't think we had five different ones).

  15. Sorry to hear you're both still poorly. Soup is good when you're ill. I remember my mum having soup bowls similar to the one's you show, I'll have to see if she's still got them.
