Really :) I picked these up when I lived in Glasgow, wore them a lot when i had my small garden plot see this link http://allotment2kitchen.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/it-takes-all-sizes.html
if only you could see our neighbours' garden - they put weedkiller on it and left it - now it is a mix of dead weeds and those that laugh at weedkiller and grow anyway (and like to jump over to our garden!) good luck with your garden (those pink flowers aren't weeds are they?)
I got to be honest, my new neighbours seem proud gardeners, so no weedkiller in sight. Yeah, the pink flowers, pretty as they are are weeds - but what kind of weeds I am not sure. I may dig it out and put in pot, simply for its pretty-ness.
Thank you Sue. The pink footwear have been with me for a few years now, had them when I lived in Glasgow and was wearing them when I was pottering in my small garden space. http://allotment2kitchen.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/it-takes-all-sizes.html
