I have blogged about Weston-Super-Mare before, its a seaside town. And as much as I like eating chips by the sea and licking ice-cream, I am not a beach person in the slightest.
So I was glad to see something else happening there.
We had never been to the Sand Sculpture Festival before, so decided to check it out this year and it was actually quite good.
The theme this year were interpretations of the hypothetical question ...What If ?! I admit I did not get them all let's see how well you can do?!
We don't stop using plastic,
I made this What if Rome Never Fell?
What if I won the Lottery?!
One of the most commonly discussed questions in recently history. We've all dreamed up an answer to the question, what's yours?
What if pigs could fly?!
What if...Women could live without fear?
What if someday women were given respect and treated with the equality they deserve. Although in the last decades we have advanced women's rights, much remains to be done. There are many who fight for change. surely one day...we will get it

Wow that is quite artistic - with lots of food for thought. I love the beach. And I would love to see this. There is one in Melbourne but too far away to go without a bit effort and I still haven't manager to get there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Johanna. Def. food for thought and some better than others.
DeleteI like the wonky houses sculpture, but not sure what the 'what if' question is...
ReplyDeleteIts pretty cool and I am afraid I cannot remember either.
DeleteI loved these, especially the women, and I share your sentiments about women's rights.
ReplyDeleteThanks e, so glad you have enjoyed these. I have more photographs from the day that I will share later in the week.
