The first Eat Your Greens recipe comes from The VegHog with Pea and Lentil Frikadellen or fritters made with green lentils, dried pea crush and frozen spinach.
How good do they look?! I'd happily chomp on a couple on this wet windy evening.
Next is my green dish for Avocado Coriander Jelly made in a Turtle mould.
Here is what it looks like before it was turned out - Savoury Coriander and Chilli Jelly cooling down.
Then smothered in Avocado Cream Cheese before it was turned out. The recipe comes from Sarah Beatties Avocado Coriander Jelly. I served this Courgette Avocado Coriander Jelly with a good crusty bread.
We hope you will join in with us in October when The Veg Hog will be hosting. Please follow this link on how to join in.

Oh that's a shame that it was so quiet, but your jelly is quite spectacular, what a creative idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It goes like that some times, no worries. Lets hope October brings more.
DeleteI had a recipe I wanted to share but I still feel like it needs work so maybe this month I will get a chance - love your turtle jelly - so creative - and VegHog's fritters look delicious - maybe not quantity but lots of quality!
ReplyDeleteNo worries Johanna, nature of grassroots blogging is slowing down. I expect it to go up and down with our event which is small compared to others still around, but yes - still quality. Look forward to see what October brings. I have lots of chard in the garden...
ReplyDeleteHello Shaheen
ReplyDeleteFirst of all Congratulations for being so creative. That turtle mould looks ironically clever. The idea of bringing vegetarian dish to look turtle-ising I mean.Your blog carries a good spark of creativity and I am impressed with your efforts to get people to eat healthy.
